The story of this domain
cryptomarkets.com.au previously hosted a directory of crypto exchanges and coin types. That site stopped operating and the domain later lapsed. Crypto Markets was relaunched in 2026 as an independent general-information guide. Every page has been written from scratch. We are not connected with the previous operator, or with any exchange, platform, token or business with a similar name.
What we are, and what we are not
- We publish general information only. We do not consider your objectives, financial situation or needs.
- We do not hold an Australian financial services licence and do not give financial, tax or legal advice.
- We do not recommend, rank, rate or compare crypto-assets or crypto platforms.
- We do not accept payment from exchanges, token projects or promoters, and do not run crypto affiliate links.
- We do not publish price predictions, trading signals or "best coin" lists.
How we research
We base our guides on official and authoritative sources: ASIC's Moneysmart, AUSTRAC, the Australian Taxation Office, the Reserve Bank of Australia, Scamwatch, the Federal Register of Legislation and reputable reference works. Each guide lists its sources and the date it was last checked. We do not invent statistics, quotes or prices. When rules are changing, as with the Digital Assets Framework Act 2026, we say so and point you to the regulator.
